Konstfack Spring Exhibition 2013
During Konstfack's Spring exhibition, Speldosan was activated by [krig] at cretin hours. A schedule was made, as an attempt to structure the chaotic mind of [krig].
Also visitors was welcome to join us in the activation and creation of both a shift in shape of the object and in the composition of improvised music. The result from the four scheduled activities is display further to the right.
"Sound of Repetitions and Destruction
Thursday 16 May – kl. 12.30 am – 3 pm
A process of building a temporary yarn-based construction out of Speldosan that generated a soundtrack based on the activity.
Dress in Beats or Dance in Loops?
Saturday 18 May - Kl. 12 pm– 4 pm<
Experiment with sound-making garments connected to Speldosan for anyone to try out. The activity was combined with a DJ set mad by [krig] and Andreas, celebrating the resease of "To Dissect an Unnoticed Land" a publication made by Textile in the Expanded Field at Konstfack.
Picnic - Seven kinds of colours
Tuesday 21 May Kl. 3 pm – 5 pm
A picnic around Speldosan where wreaths in macramé, wool and with sequins was made by [krig], Sol Hanna Eriksson och Sandra Lundberg.
"The Pre Midsummer Dance - a.k.a Klassdans!
Saturday 25 May – kl. 2 pm – 4 pm
A public experiment in weaving and sound-creation by dancing around Speldosan. The soundtrack was improvised together with Lo.
